>

Resolves the application's title in the given locale.

**Signature:**

```typescript
export declare function getPluggableApplicationLocalizedTitle(app: PluggableApplicationRegistryItem, locale: ILocale | undefined): string;
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| app | [PluggableApplicationRegistryItem](https://www.gooddata.ai/docs/gooddata-ui/latest/api-reference/sdk-model/sdk-model.pluggableapplicationregistryitem/index.md) | application to resolve the title of |
| locale | [ILocale](https://www.gooddata.ai/docs/gooddata-ui/latest/api-reference/sdk-model/sdk-model.ilocale/index.md) \| undefined | locale to resolve the title in |

**Returns:**

string

the localized title, or the plain one

## Remarks

Falls back to the manifest's plain `title` when the locale is unknown or the application declares no translation for it. Each application carries its titles in the registry because its own locale bundle is loaded only once the user opens it.
