# ISemanticConditionalFormatting

- Package: [@gooddata/sdk-model](https://www.gooddata.ai/docs/gooddata-ui/latest/api-reference/sdk-model/index.md)
- Kind: interface
- Stability: alpha
- Source: https://github.com/gooddata/gooddata-ui-sdk/blob/rel/11.64/libs/sdk-model/src/conditionalFormatting/index.ts

> **Alpha API.** Initial API, highly likely to change outside SemVer. Don't build on it in production. See [API maturity](https://www.gooddata.ai/docs/gooddata-ui/latest/integrations/platform/api-maturity/index.md).
>

Conditional-formatting rules authored once on a semantic-layer catalog object (label, metric, fact, or date dataset) and carried on the matching execution result header (`attributeHeader.conditionalFormatting` / `measureHeaderItem.conditionalFormatting`) so every insight built on that object inherits them without re-authoring. Unlike [IConditionalFormatting](https://www.gooddata.ai/docs/gooddata-ui/latest/api-reference/sdk-model/sdk-model.iconditionalformatting/index.md), there is no per-rule target — the target is implicit (the header the rules arrived on) and there is no rule grouping, only a flat, first-match-wins condition list.

**Signature:**

```typescript
export interface ISemanticConditionalFormatting
