# IGeoLayerConfig

Per-layer configuration for GeoChart layers.

**Signature:**

## Remarks

This config is intentionally limited to options that are meaningful on a per-layer basis. It is \*\*not\*\* the same as [IGeoChartConfig](https://www.gooddata.ai/docs/gooddata-ui/latest/api-reference/sdk-ui-geo/sdk-ui-geo.igeochartconfig/index.md) (which contains global/map-level settings).

### IGeoLayerConfig.colorMapping

Optional custom color mappings override for this layer.

**Signature:**

Optional color palette override for this layer.

**Signature:**

colorPalette?: IColorPalette;
```

### IGeoLayerConfig.customTooltip

Optional custom tooltip configuration for this layer.

**Signature:**

#### Remarks

Each layer renders its own custom tooltip. When omitted, the layer has no custom tooltip section (it does not inherit another layer's configuration).
